On January 7, 2022, France 3 Centre-Val de Loire devoted a report to Maison NANA1807 , revealing to its viewers the inspiring world of a family that is reinventing the art of Mint Tea . Founded by Zakaria En Nana and his children, this house rooted in Berry bridges the gap between Moroccan heritage, Berry terroir and organic excellence , to offer much more than just tea: a true cultural and sensory experience.
A story of heritage, passion and transmission
Maison NANA1807 , created in 2020, was born from a double rooting: that of the Moroccan traditions of mint tea, transmitted by Mouima , and that of the rural values of Berry, the land of welcome of the En Nana family for several decades.
It is in Rosières , a small village in Cher, that Zakaria has chosen to set up his artisanal creation workshops , mixing plants from Morocco with those from the Centre-Val de Loire, in a local, organic and sustainable approach.
Production workshops dedicated to authenticity
The France 3 report takes us to the heart of the workshops of Maison NANA1807 , where the tea is prepared in accordance with ancestral know-how and organic standards.
Each blend is carefully prepared: sweet mint leaves from Morocco , peppermint from Berry , Gunpowder green tea , natural spices , flowers , or even Rooibos , for recipes with subtle and balanced aromas.
