The NANA1807 Method | Mint Tea

The NANA1807® Mint Tea Method
A sensory, vibrant, and evolving ceremony, blending tradition, science, and hospitality
A phytotherapeutic, sensory, and cultural approach
The art of infusing a vibrant, generous, and profoundly beneficial Mint Tea.
At Maison NANA1807, Mint Tea is not just a drink. It is an act of hospitality, a ritual of listening to living things, a celebration of the connection between human beings, nature, and Moroccan tea traditions, enhanced by NANA1807 Organic Teas.
We have developed The NANA1807® Mint Tea Method, in 4 sensory and lively stages, adapted to our emblematic teas such as MOUIMA®, GOOD HOPE®, or ONE&ONLY®, and all our Organic Mint Teas
1. The Initial Infusion | Awakening the Plant and Emotions
Temperature: 80 to 90°C | Duration: 3 to 4 minutes | Mountain Spring Water
The first infusion allows the intelligence of the blend to be revealed, by releasing the essential oils of mint, the primary aromas of green or black tea, and the top notes of fruits, flowers or spices contained in our signature recipes.
It is a gentle but intense activation:
-
Mint releases its digestive compounds (menthol, carvone)
-
Tea diffuses its polyphenols, natural caffeine, and vegetal freshness
-
Exotic fruits or petals gently open, for an aromatic awakening
This first liquor is intense, structured, invigorating, and announces an evolving experience.
2. Multi-Infusion | Listening to the Plant's Cycle
Infusions 2 to 5: 80 to 90°C | Duration: 1 to 5 minutes depending on the infusion
The NANA1807® Method values multi-infusion, the heart of our philosophy:
Each tea is a journey that unfolds over time, and each infusion is a different stage of the same story.
Why multi-infuse?
-
Secondary and tertiary aromas appear gradually
-
The mint becomes fresher, softer
-
The tea gains roundness and subtlety
-
Astringency decreases, sweetness develops
This allows for adjusting the strength, extending the pleasure, and extracting all the plant memory contained in the leaf.
A single serving, multiple facets of the same tea.
3. Tea-Mint Balance | A Living Harmony
Each NANA1807 Mint Tea is a thoughtful blend of:
-
An origin tea (green, black, or rooibos), for structure and strength
-
A mild organic mint (often from Morocco or Egypt), for freshness and elegance
-
Floral, fruity, or spicy notes, for the soul of the blend
The NANA1807® Method adjusts according to the profile:

The Multi-Infusion Concept according to NANA1807®
Multi-infusion is more than a technique:
It's a philosophy of long time, a dialogue with the plant, an ecology of tasting.
Benefits:
-
Respect for the plant: the leaf is not exhausted in one go
-
Aromatic richness: each infusion reveals a different facet
-
Less waste: the same amount of tea is used multiple times
-
Sensory adaptation: the customer chooses the intensity and duration
Each infusion is a chapter, each cup a poem.
