Portrait of Mouima | The Origin of Mouima Tea

Welcome to the NANA1807 House

Some traditions are passed down through books. Others live on in a person's actions.

Mouima , the Moroccan grandmother of the NANA family, is the source of the inspiration that gave birth to MOUIMA Tea → from Maison NANA1807.

Between Morocco and Berry, its heritage continues to inspire a vision of tea based on hospitality, generosity and respect for plants.

Today, MOUIMA Tea perpetuates this family memory and embodies the very soul of Maison NANA1807.

Salty | The Cradle of a Tradition

Mouima was born in Salé , a historic city in Morocco located opposite Rabat. In this port city open to the Atlantic, family traditions and hospitality occupy an essential place in daily life.

From a very young age, she learned the gestures surrounding tea preparation alongside her mother. The choice of leaves, the freshness of the mint, the patience of the infusion and the elegance of the service gradually became a language of sharing.

These simple and precise gestures form the legacy that would later inspire the philosophy of Maison NANA1807.

From Morocco to Berry | A Tradition That Travels

Life leads Mouima to Berry , in the heart of France. Far from the Atlantic Ocean and the alleyways of Salé, she brings with her the scents and memories of her childhood.

In the garden of the Domaine de Rosières, she replants NÂNÂ mint, a symbol of her native Morocco. Over the seasons, this mint encounters the Berry soil and mingles with local varieties.

Very quickly, neighbors and friends discovered her mint tea and spoke of it as the best mint tea in Berry . Unbeknownst to her, Mouima had just sown the first seeds of what would later become Maison NANA1807.
