Summer tip | Iced Tea or Hot Tea?

The NANA1807 Method for an Elegantly Infused Summer

Should you drink your tea hot or iced this summer?

And most importantly: how to prepare it without losing the aromatic richness or the natural benefits of the plant?

As temperatures soar, mint tea becomes an essential ally: thirst-quenching, refreshing, elegant. But it all depends on the preparation method .

Summer Tip | Iced Tea or Hot Tea? | NANA1807 House | The House of Organic Mint Tea

At Maison NANA1807 , we champion a know-how inspired by both Mediterranean and Eastern wisdom , and the great principles of controlled infusion as taught by international tea experts, like Madame Yu Hui Tseng .

Why choose hot brewing - even for iced tea?

Contrary to popular belief, cold brewing is not enough to unlock the treasures of the leaf .

From 70°C , the heat allows the cell walls of the leaves to break down naturally , releasing aromatic components and active ingredients of interest such as polyphenols, essential oils and theine.

That's why, at Maison NANA1807, even an iced tea starts with a hot infusion.

This choice guarantees:

  • A taste true to the terroir of origin;
  • An infusion without bitterness or premature oxidation;
  • A drink that is rich, sweet and refreshing , naturally.

Hot infusion is at the heart of the NANA1807 Method , inspired by traditional tea arts, and adapted to the demands of the contemporary climate.

Hot Tea in Summer | A Traditional Secret

In Saharan, Eastern or Asian cultures, hot tea is drunk in the middle of summer — not by chance, but out of wisdom.

By stimulating natural and gentle perspiration, hot tea promotes the body's thermal regulation , without creating shock or aggression for the body.

And above all, it allows us to experience a moment of pause, of breathing, of connection.
This is the spirit of Mint Tea for Peace , celebrated every month at Maison NANA1807.

Comparison of Infusion Methods
