The Origins of Mint Tea

Contrary to the history conveyed in Europe and even in Morocco, Moroccan Mint Tea does not date back to the 19th century, during the Crimean War, when the English would have brought tea from China to the Sultan of Morocco.
In fact, it was the Arab navigators who brought back the first tea leaves from China in the 9th century.
