Let's Unite Our Voices and Register Mint Tea as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Dear Mint Tea Lovers,

Why Mint Tea?

Mint Tea is much more than just a drink. It represents centuries of traditions and know-how passed down from generation to generation in many communities in the Maghreb, Africa and around the world. It is a reflection of our hospitality and generosity, and plays a central role in our social interactions and celebrations.

An initiative from Maison NANA1807

This initiative comes from Maison NANA1807 - the House of Organic Mint Tea in France . Founded in homage to Mouima, our beloved grandmother who made the best Moroccan Mint Tea in Berry , Maison NANA1807 aims to magnify the mint tea ceremony in all its aspects and cultural origins. This world heritage listing would not only be a tribute to Mouima, but also to all the women who, through the ages, have shaped and transmitted this cultural heritage with dedication and passion.

Let us unite our voices for a common cause

We invite communities from the Maghreb, Africa, the Arab world and beyond to come together to support this initiative. By uniting our voices, we can demonstrate the importance of this cultural practice and the need for its preservation for future generations.

This would strengthen our collective pride and our commitment to protecting our rich cultural heritage. It is also a beautiful recognition of the crucial role played by women in passing on this heritage, honoring their dedication to keeping this tradition alive.
