Creation Saturdays

Artisanal and cultural trip from Berry to Morocco

This new edition of Creation Saturdays will be the evocation of a cultural and artisanal universe: the tradition of Mint Tea, the art of Zellige and the art of the table in a decorative, gustatory and olfactory format.

Recognized for the quality of its clays, Berry is a ceramic clay par excellence. Mehun-sur-Yèvre has hosted its porcelain city since 1854.

Moroccan ceramics are also a true treasure of the Kingdom, with the richness of its colors and patterns influenced by Berber tradition and Islamic art.

Thanks to Maison Zellige (Paris), come and discover the splendor of Moroccan zellige, bringing you a timeless charm inside and outside your home.

From its expert perspective in artistic crafts, the Olivier workshop has selected for you exceptional pieces from the Kingdom of Morocco, in particular:

  • Ceramic cups made and decorated by hand
  • Traditional hand-blown glass goblets
  • Meticulously shaped and hand painted ceramic bowls
  • and ceramic dishes with rich decorations and varied motifs according to ancestral tradition

The Workshop as a place of exchange, which we like to make palpable and alive, dynamic and welcoming today thanks to Maison NANA1807 and Maison Zellige - the authentic ambassadors of the Moroccan art of living in France!

As part of this special Saturday of Creation, you will also enjoy a Mint Tea ceremony for Peace, tastings of HEARTS of MOROCCO Tea and delicious pastries, tea sales, sales of Moroccan artisanal products, and news creations from the Atelier de l’Olivier.
