Around a Mint Tea for Peace

First meeting: Thursday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. – with the poet Jérôme Tessier

There was a time in Paris when friends of the House would meet to listen, reflect and be inspired over tea and a guest: it was Les Jeudis du Savoir , a series of conferences and warm talks, designed to circulate ideas, passions and sensitive views of the world.

At the request of those who experienced this wonderful adventure, Les Jeudis du Savoir are back in action , one Thursday a month, in the Mint Tea Café By NANA1807 in Mehun-sur-Yèvre.

This cycle is fully in line with the spirit of the Maison NANA1807 : a place of transmission, hospitality, dialogue between the arts, knowledge and cultures. Each meeting will be an opportunity to listen to a personality, to discover a career or a work, and to extend the exchange around a Mint Tea for Peace. , prepared according to Moroccan tradition.

To open this New Season, a Poet Friend

Jérôme Tessier will have the honor of inaugurating this new edition.
Born in 1956, Jérôme Tessier is a man whose life is marked by writing and poetry. After working in the fields of communications and public relations, he has devoted himself for over ten years to a demanding and sensitive poetic oeuvre.

His writings, informed by autobiography, spirituality, and a keen attention to life, have been published in literary journals such as L'Arpa and even adapted for film. He now leads writing workshops in Montbrison, in the Loire region, where he leads a peaceful and committed life.

It is within the Mint Tea Café By NANA1807 that he will do us the honor of sharing his universe, his voice, and a few fragments of a poetry that re-enchants our gaze. A poetry of attention, of presence, of the connection between humanity, nature, and the invisible.
