Mint Tea for Peace… at the Mint Tea Café for Peace

Promise Kept | Realizing a Solidarity Dream
In 2024, Maison NANA1807, faithful to its commitment to peace, cultural diversity and solidarity, set a strong intention: to create a Solidarity Tea Room , a living symbol of its emblematic Mint Tea For Peace program. Today, this vision takes shape with the inauguration of the Mint Tea Café for Peace , a unique space adjacent to the Green Garden solidarity restaurant , at the heart of a House of Orality entirely dedicated to the dialogue of cultures .
This achievement is much more than just the opening of a new space: it represents the culmination of a long and magnificent collaborative adventure between Maison NANA1807 , the NGO We Speak Citizen , and Atelier de l'Olivier – a partner of excellence in tapestry, decorative art and the design of Mint Tea Café By NANA1807. Together, they have combined their expertise to create a space for sharing , where each cup of mint tea becomes a gesture of peace.
A Vision Born from Mintealogy and Crafts
The concept of the Mint Tea Café for Peace has been incubated over the years in a fruitful dialogue between science, art, and the Moroccan heritage of mint tea. Mintéalogie—a pioneering discipline of Maison NANA1807 —inspired a profound reflection on the place of tea as a vector of social connection, while the Atelier de l'Olivier brought all its expertise to magnify these spaces through refined artisanal creations: tapestries, decorative elements, and custom-made furniture.
L' Atelier de l'Olivier , renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, has created the soul of this new salon, blending Moroccan authenticity with contemporary influences. Every detail – from the embroidered motifs to the choice of textures – celebrates this alliance between tradition and innovation, the true signature of the Mint Tea Café By NANA1807, a solidarity and participatory franchise .

A Promise Kept | A Shared Pride
This project would not have been possible without the determination and hard work of Loubna Mouna, Khalil Mouna , and their entire family, who carried this vision with contagious energy. Alongside Maison NANA1807 , they honored their commitment made in 2024: to offer local and international communities a place for meeting, dialogue, and solidarity.
“ The Mint Tea Café for Peace is more than a place: it’s an embodied intention, a space where we gather around tea to dialogue, learn, and build bridges between cultures. We are proud that this idea, born from a deep conviction within WeSpeakCitizen, has found such a magnificent echo thanks to Maison NANA1807 and Atelier de l’Olivier. ”
— Loubna Mouna , Founder of the NGO We Speak Citizen and leader of the Green Garden project including the Mint Tea Café for Peace
" NANA1807 Teas are a hit with customers. They perfectly match the spirit of the place and our tea-food pairings: each tasting is a complete sensory experience, in harmony with the Green Garden's creative and responsible cuisine. "
— Khalil Mouna , Chef of the Green Garden restaurant and Manager of the Mint Tea Café for Peace
A Replicable Model under Solidarity Franchise
With this first opening, Maison NANA1807 also affirms its desire to expand this model to other territories in France, Morocco, and elsewhere. The Mint Tea Café for Peace thus becomes the new signature of Mint Tea Café By NANA1807: a supportive and participatory franchise, designed to be established in diverse cultural and social contexts, always with the same requirement for authenticity, artisanal excellence, and positive impact.

The Spirit of Travel | An Idea Born on the Roads of Morocco
For the record, it was during the exceptional Mint Tea For Peace program – notably during the Izouran Festival in October 2024 in Aït Ben Haddou – that this idea took shape. This solidarity stay, marked by Mintéalogie workshops, meetings with Moroccan artisans, and the restitution of collaborative work with We Speak Citizen , had sown the seeds of this ambitious project. The opening ceremony of the Izouran Festival , and the highlights dedicated to Mint Tea for Peace , had also confirmed the collective enthusiasm around this vision.
