When Mint Flirts with Grape

Maison NANA1807 makes its debut at Domaine Charpentier
In Reuilly, in the heart of the Berry wine region , on June 7 and 8, the vines will have the scent of mint, and the glasses will converse with... the Tea glasses . On the occasion of the 10th edition of the Domaine Charpentier Open House , a small event with the taste of a big celebration, Maison NANA1807 is signing a first participation as unexpected as it is poetic.
Hailing from the Berry region but driven by a living memory of Morocco, Maison NANA1807 doesn't just bring tea. It distills a philosophy of peace through infusion: an invitation to slowness, to savoring, to hospitality—everything that Mint Tea can embody when prepared with care, love, and science.
Two fresh and in-depth meetings
Through two emblematic events – a Mint Tea Ceremony for Peace and a Mintéalogie workshop , this House committed to the transmission of artisanal know-how invites visitors on a sensory journey between Berry and Morocco, between terroir and memory, between tradition and creation.
The Maison's stand will naturally join the Berry farmers' market , in the heart of the estate, as a nod to shared peasant roots and the conviviality of village markets. But make no mistake: here, tea becomes an art of living .

When the Flavors of Berry Meet NANA1807 Teas
At the table, Mint Tea can be a showcase, a revelation, or a counterpoint. Maison NANA1807 subtly explores these dialogues between Moroccan traditions and Berry terroirs, in a gastronomic approach that is as intuitive as it is sensitive.

- Take a matured Chavignol goat's cheese : its dense texture and delicate salinity find a chiseled freshness in ALHAMBRA tea . This organic peppermint blend, enhanced with a hint of citrus, illuminates the cheese with a subtle, almost graphic, vegetal tension. A pairing that evokes morning strolls in dew-drenched gardens.
- A Berry cake with caramelized apples and cinnamon , still warm, calls for the velvety comfort of Rooibos GOOD HOPE . This theine-free rooibos with mint and bergamot resonates with notes of melted apple, prolonging the tasting in a soothing, almost enveloping warmth. A sweet interlude with the scents of childhood and gentle wisdom.
- Mehun-sur-Yèvre's artisanal biscuits , with their crunchy texture and generous butter with a subtle vanilla flavor, find an exceptional partner in BIARRITZ Tea . This tea for beginners, enhanced with vibrant peppermint, exudes fresh notes of pomegranate and elderflower, which delicately counterbalance the biscuit's sweet richness. The tasting ends with a long and refined floral finish, where the rose displays all its delicacy.
And for the Mint Tea Ceremony for Peace , a highlight of this first participation at Domaine Charpentier, it is naturally MOUIMA Tea that will be in the spotlight. This Tea, a tribute to the founding matriarch , brewed in the pure Moroccan tradition, embodies the spirit of transmission, slowness and sharing. A gesture of hospitality, as simple as it is universal.
Maison NANA1807 , faithful to its vocation as a House of culture as much as of taste, reminds us here that peace can be born from a humble gesture: pouring a Mint Tea , offering it, and taking the time to share it.
Join us on June 7 & 8 at Domaine Charpentier in Reuilly for an inspired tasting, combining human, gourmet... and minty encounters.
