NANA1807 House | Ecology, Organic Tea and Peace
On the occasion of the major citizen and ecological event "Faites de l'Écologie" , organised by the City of Bourges, Maison NANA1807 is pleased to announce its participation in the festive afternoon on Saturday, May 24, 2025 as part of the Organic market organised by the BIO BERRY association .

This free event, open to all, is part of a regional initiative to raise awareness of environmental issues , promote local sourcing , and showcase sustainable practices . For our company, it's a valuable opportunity to meet the residents of Bourges and the Berry region , share our organic teas , and offer a moment of calm and connection over organic mint tea, a symbol of peace and conviviality.
A Tea House Committed to Biodiversity and Harmony
Since its inception, Maison NANA1807 has cultivated an artisanal approach to mint tea, inspired by Moroccan traditions passed down through generations. Through exclusive blends such as MOUIMA , CŒURS DU MAROC , and GREEN CITY , we offer organic loose-leaf teas , blending sweet mint leaves, high-quality green and black teas, and natural ingredients sourced from environmentally conscious farms.
Our commitment is twofold:
- Preserving local areas and biodiversity through organic and ethical production choices.
- Building connections through tasting moments that promote intercultural dialogue, mutual respect and peace.
A Tea Ritual to Weave Peace
At 5 p.m., in the enchanting setting of the Archbishop's Garden , we will invite the public to experience a Mint Tea for Peace ceremony , a signature moment of our House.
This ritual draws inspiration from Moroccan "Atay" traditions, but reinterprets them within a contemporary framework: slower, more mindful, more open. Serving tea here becomes a symbolic act of fraternity , an ecological and supportive gesture , a gentle way to reconnect with life, with others, and with oneself.
Visitors will be able to enjoy our organic mint tea for free while discussing our recipes, our commitments, and the application process for UNESCO intangible cultural heritage status led by Maison NANA1807 around this ritual.
A Meeting with the Committed Berry
This event on May 24th is part of a season of gatherings in Berry , focused on ecology, craftsmanship, and peace. Afterwards:
- The "Mint Tea for Peace" ceremonies in Mehun-sur-Yèvre with the Atelier de l'Olivier ,
- Events at the new Mint Tea Bar in Galeries Lafayette Amiens ,
- And the celebration with the France-Great Britain association ,
We continue to establish ourselves in this territory rich in meaning, memory and future, while spreading our values beyond borders — as exemplified by our latest event in Cambridge.

➤ Our presence in Bourges, European Capital of Culture 2028, takes on its full meaning in this collective dynamic to imagine a more respectful, fairer and warmer society.
