Meditation around Mint Tea
A Mint Tea for Mouima
Mouima has always played a vital and essential role at NANA1807. She is the reason we undertook this extraordinary project, and sharing MOUIMA Mint Tea with you is a tremendous privilege and a significant responsibility.

"Maison NANA1807 was born from a promise made to my father's mother, Mouima, Hajja Fatna, Madame Nana de Rosières. An exceptional woman."
Engie, Emma & Adam - Founding Partners of Maison NANA1807
Maison NANA1807 honors the art of Mint Tea. This ancestral art is part of a daily ritual, a ceremony of sharing, and a symbol of hospitality. These values, passed down by Mouima to her family, are our main asset.
So when Maison NANA1807 blends and infuses its selection of Grands thés and Mints from organic farming for a fine and elegant experience with authentic tastes, we honor the traditional values inherited from Mouima on a daily basis.
It was at the Palais d'Iéna in Paris that Maison NANA1807 presented, for the first time, its first collection of Grands Thés à la Menthe (Great Mint Teas) with exceptional flavors. And this wonderful day revealed to us that Mint Tea is an exceptional vehicle for conveying our Islamic values and our Moroccan traditions.
All the guests who taste our Mint Tea are curious to understand the meaning of the ritual of the Moroccan Tea ceremony... And each explanation is based on our Arab-Islamic culture that we love to tell.
Generally, the role of Mother is a divine mission assigned only to women. According to William Ross Wallace's poem "What Rules the World," he says that the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world. This illustrates the influence a mother has on her child and, in the long run, on society.
The Jewish proverb, "A mother understands what a child does not say," illustrates the dynamic between mothers and children. Mothers can hear phrases in their children's silence. God gave mothers the special gift of intuition because it gives them a clear idea of what is right for their children.
“Heaven lies beneath the feet of mothers.” Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him)
According to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the gates of Paradise are open to those who cherish and respect their mothers.
Contrary to popular belief, Islam empowers women more than any other religion. They have more rights than any man. Moreover, women play a key and very important role when they become mothers.
“We have enjoined upon man kindness to his parents; in sorrow his mother bore him, and in sorrow she gave birth to him.” (Quran 46:15)
Because mothers have a highly valued and dignified role in Islam, their contribution is recognized and applauded.
We invite you to continue this meditation around MOUIMA Mint Tea, at your earliest convenience, in the Majliss (friendly space for discussing around Mint Tea) of Thé de la Maison NANA1807.
