Prix de l’Olivier — Artisanal Crafts, Women Creators, and Excellence in Craftsmanship

The Olive Tree Award

When arts and crafts meet Minthalogy to reveal the women shaping tomorrow's world.

Summary

A founding alliance

The Olive Tree Award was born from the meeting between L’Atelier de l’Olivier and Maison NANA1807, two committed entrepreneurial houses united by a common vision of transmission, excellence, and impact.

In the heart of Berry, a unique encounter took place.
That of two committed entrepreneurial houses, two distinct cultural heritages, two complementary sensibilities united by a common conviction: creation, transmission, and entrepreneurship can become forces for sustainable transformation.

On one side, L'Atelier de l'Olivier, a house dedicated to arts and crafts, artisanal creation, and the promotion of living heritage, nourished by a culture of artisanal excellence inherited from Périgord.

On the other, Maison NANA1807, a creative tea house dedicated to the transmission of Minthalogy — the science and art of mint tea — inspired by a Moroccan and Mediterranean cultural heritage.

From this alliance was born The Olive Tree Award:
a distinction and support program dedicated to women who undertake, create, transmit, and innovate with impact.

A common vision

The program distinguishes women who undertake, create, innovate, and transmit for the common good, with a view to sustainably promoting impactful trajectories.

The Olive Tree Award is not merely an award.

It is the expression of a common vision shared by its founders:
that of entrepreneurship rooted in the transmission of know-how, the demand for creation, social responsibility, and the desire to build projects useful for the common good.

Conceived as a link between artisanal excellence, entrepreneurial innovation, and human commitment, the Olive Tree Award distinguishes female trajectories that embody another way of doing business: more conscious, more creative, more sustainable.

Honoring those who create value, meaning, and transmission

The Olive Tree Award celebrates women who:

  • build impactful businesses,
  • innovate for the benefit of society,
  • preserve and reinvent know-how,
  • transmit tangible or intangible heritage,
  • develop solidarity, educational, or cultural initiatives,
  • combine excellence, utility, and commitment.

Because some trajectories deserve more than symbolic recognition, the Olive Tree Award aims to offer them a real leverage for acceleration.

A support program

Beyond distinction, the Olive Tree Award structures a network of partners, mentors, and experts aimed at supporting laureates in their development.

Each distinction aims to open access to:

  • enhanced institutional and media visibility,
  • a qualified network of partners and patrons,
  • strategic mentoring opportunities,
  • development support,
  • targeted networking with experts and decision-makers.

The Olive Tree Award thus aims to become an accelerator for remarkable female trajectories.

First inaugural edition

The first phase of the Olive Tree Award will be officially inaugurated on June 25, 2026 at the Palais Jacques-Cœur, during a founding evening bringing together partners and supporters of the program.

This founding launch will bring together institutional actors, entrepreneurs, patrons, personalities from the cultural world, and committed partners around a common ambition:
to create a new ecosystem of support for women entrepreneurs with impact.

This first edition is organized with the support of:

  • Centre des monuments nationaux
  • École nationale supérieure d'art de Bourges

The first Olive Tree Award distinctions

On the occasion of this inaugural evening, two initial distinctions will be awarded to embody the founding values of the program.

Craft & Creation Prize

Distinguishing a journey of excellence in arts and crafts and artisanal creation.

International Solidarity Prize

Rewarding an exemplary initiative in the fields of education, art, or international cooperation.

These inaugural distinctions constitute the first steps of a program destined to progressively expand around new categories and new support pathways.

A lasting ambition

The Olive Tree Award aims to become a benchmark event for the promotion of impactful female entrepreneurship, in France and internationally.

Born in the heart of Berry, a land of heritage, creation, and transmission, the Olive Tree Award carries an ambition that goes beyond its territorial roots.

It aspires to become, in the coming years, a benchmark event for the promotion of impactful female entrepreneurship, by bringing together institutions, businesses, patrons, and expert networks.

Because areas of excellence can become centers of innovation when heritage, creation, and entrepreneurial vision meet.
