Ritual & Secrets of Mint Tea

History and Tradition of Touareg Mint Tea

The Touareg Mint Tea, often called "Moroccan Tea", is in fact a tradition of Mint Tea widespread throughout the Arab-Muslim world.

Among the Mint Tea Lovers, the Tuaregs consume Mint Tea on a daily basis… Very concerned about the quality of Mint Tea, they devote a large budget to it and share it generously…

The Tuaregs are connoisseurs and they have a very refined Mint Tea ceremony.

“Mint Tea is a divine gift that unties tongues and opens hearts. "

Traditionally, Touareg Mint Tea is prepared from Chinese Green Tea - Gunpowder and fresh Moroccan mint (“NÂN” mint).

To facilitate its preparation and taste experience, Maison NANA1807 offers Mint Teas - Mouima and Green City - made from Green Tea and natural and organic mint leaves, without artificial flavour.

According to the rules of the art, Mint Tea is served three times. Thus each infusion brings a different aromatic note and a unique flavor:

“The First Glass is as sweet as life, the Second is as strong as love, the Third is as bitter as death. "

Moroccan tea is served in a glass, not a cup, and it is tasted very hot, in small sips, by delicately inhaling this elixir with air.
