Built in a spectacular Moorish style with contemporary Art Deco touches, the palace invites you to taste, in all serenity, a Moroccan Mint tea in its magnificent enclosed garden.

Established in the late 18th century, the eight-acre garden was the Moroccan king's gift to his son, Prince Mamoun, at his wedding.

Today, totaling 17 acres, the garden is home to 700-year-old olive groves, established fruit and palm trees, flower beds containing over 5,000 fragrant roses, and spectacular cactus plants.

Beyond its walls is the buzzing medina of Marrakech, where you'll find a labyrinth of market streets with souks selling everything from spices and aromatic plants to leather goods.

If you prefer not to compete with the bustling crowd of the medina, the dining options at La Mamounia are gourmet, intimate and varied.

The Tea House  allows to treat yourself to a gourmet break or a tasting of Moroccan Mint Tea throughout the day.
